IT security and development

Simon will be leading the digital vision and driving the digital transformation of the IMPREG Group while mitigating threats from cyber-crime. He will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the group wide IT infrastructure, IT applications and IT organization to support the IMPREG growth journey and he will work closely with the IMPREG Team in the regional organizations. Simon will be based in Ammerbuch.

Simon Füss comes from a position as Global Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations with a company based in Ulm, operating globally with presence in 80 countries. He is a strong leader with a passion for all aspects of IT and driving digital transformation. Simon brings with him a wealth of experience and he has successfully led and developed high performance and reliable IT systems and IT environments.
He is focused on value creation of technical innovations, IT security and keeping productivity and efficient work processes at the forefront . He has a strong background within many facets of core IT including developing global IT standards, administration and support of Windows server, network, cloud solutions, risk management, etc.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in Ammerbuch/Gärtringen as an ESG Manager with the goal to integrate material ESG topics in IMPREG´s strategy, operations, and culture. You will be reporting to the Group CEO and working closely together with the senior management team.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

General

• Operational ownership of ESG
• Coordinate implementation of agreed ESG targets
• Report regularly to the management and board on progress & ad hoc incidents
• Include ESG in commercial strategy where relevant

Governance Framework

• Prepare adequate plan for implementation of policies
• Implement policies
• Facilitate training of employees in policies

ESG Strategy Framework

• Liaise with different parts of the organization to create and operationalize ESG strategy
• Ensure development and annual updates of ESG strategy with ambitious and specific long-term targets
• Work strategically to maximise ESG impact and meet stated ambitions

Climate Framework

• Coordinate mapping and analyzing of GHG emissions
  (in CEMAsys)
• Coordinate setting climate goals for reduction of GHG
• Liaise with key functions in the organization to identify how to reduce emissions and create action plan
• Work with organization to execute on action plan

Candidate Requirements

• Strong project management skills:
  The ESG resource will have to liaise with several stakeholders across the organization to create and execute on the ESG strategy
• Communication skills:
  Communication of  current and future efforts are an important part of the role
• Passion for ESG:
  Prior ESG working experience is not required, but the
  candidate must show a keen interest/passion for ESG topics, a drive to make a difference
• At least 3 years of work experience:
  The person needs to be able to manage up and down, and thus should have the weight of working experience
• Ideal backgrounds is consulting, project
  management roles:
  Typically, the person filling the role would also be in strategy roles, operations, supply chain/procurement, HR.

Karsten Müller succeeds Søren F. Knudsen

Søren F. Knudsen, former CEO and Chairman, will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Together with our new CEO Karsten Müller, the global management team will remain. It includes Robert Papp (COO), Nicolai Westh (CFO), and Christoph Lindner (CBDO), as well as the regional managers in Americas, and in APAC, Michael Ellenrieder.

Relocation the headquarter

IMPREG is planning to move the global headquarter from Denmark to Germany. In this connection Karsten Müller will also have his office in Ammerbuch/Gärtringen together with Robert Papp and Nicolai Westh, while Christoph Lindner will remain residing in the US. Mr. Karsten Müller comes with a background in global management from senior positions at both Wilo SE and ELG Haniel.  Here he has been leading the growth of the companies globally. Mr. Karsten Müller is a mechanical/industrial engineer.

IMPREG has successfully developed into one of the global leading suppliers of UV liners and adjacent services, and this strategy we plan to continue. The strong partnership with key customers and other industry suppliers across regions and countries, will continue to be a priority and a focus area.
